Pushing Boundaries is Good
At Earth Explore we're convinced that good things happen when we try something new. When we explore, laugh, and learn. The act of challenging boundaries, of pushing them out, is the essence of the Earth Explore experience.
We encourage our students to learn by doing, to get out and experience real-world science and
cultures in a fun, safe and supportive environment, and in doing so find out some pretty amazing things about themselves too. Like how capable they are, how leadership and confidence can grow, and how real world experiences can serve as an outstanding platform for future success.
Getting Active is important
Our students don't sit on the sidelines. They learn by doing. In a safe and supportive group setting.
That may mean taking to a motor launch in Costa Rica's Tortuguero National Park, a glacier cruise in Alaska, a kayak on Monterey Bay, or a trail in Yosemite, Yellowstone or Hawaii Volcanoes. We may be checking out moose habitat in Alaska, pulling on a snorkel and fins to experience an underwater coral reef in Hawaii, or going on a horseback ride through the biodiverse Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
Wherever we go, and whatever we do, we firmly believe that once an experience touches the hand, it reaches the mind and the heart, in a way that cannot be duplicated.
Supervision and Guidance
Hands-on learning brings a heightened awareness of the world, its environments, and amazing cultures. The entire time, close supervision by teachers means that students have a safe and supportive environment in which to learn and challenge themselves, both academically and socially.
How do we do it? Earth Explore maintains the lowest adult to student ratio in student travel. more about safety hereThis means our teachers are free to enhance the experience of every student in their care, and to make sure they are having the time of their life.
A Platform for the Future
We're especially proud of what parents tell us about the EE Experience. Year after year they report that their sons and daughters return from our programs with some amazing, and sometimes unexpected, new skills. Like burgeoning self confidence, enhanced leadership abilities, and better decision-making. As parents we know these are precisely the skills that can form a solid platform for future success, and a springboard for whatever our kids would like to accomplish in life. That's why the EE Experience is about much more than learning and adventure. It's also about the future.
