And when you travel with Earth Explore, your family has access to the same world class educational and adventure resources that we use on all of our student trips. Through the not for profit Earth Explore Foundation, we are able to partner with the world's finest educational adventure organizations. That means you will have exclusive access to experts and resources from organizations like the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Costa Rica Expeditions, and the Costa Rica Sea Turtle Conservancy.

Thrills, and Education
No trip is complete without plenty of thrills, and we deliver. From guided coral reef snorkeling and launching off a 20 foot high water slide into the ocean on the Hawaii trip, to rafting a Raiders of the Lost Ark style river and zipling in Costa Rica, we keep the thrills coming.
But we also mix in a lot of fun learning, so that your trip is more than an adrenline rush...it's a chance to really connect with cultures, the diversity of nature, and the beauty of the places you visit.
Accommodations and other Details
As a family unit, you always stay together on our trips. You will have one or more rooms of your own, and will join with other families for meals, group activities, receptions and briefings. There will be free time, of course, during which your family can share alone time, or join with other families for leisure activities.
Our typical day begins at 8AM for breakfast, and ends at about 5PM. On many evenings of our trips there are fun and educational excursions planned...like star gazing on Mauna Kea in Hawaii, or jungle wildlife spotting in the Costa Rican rain forest.
