#1 We're top rated by parents and students alike

At Earth Explore we strive to be the best, not the biggest.  That's why we're proud that for each of the past 15 years, well over 90 percent of our families have said they would recommend us to friends, or travel with us again.  That's a record of achievement that can't be beaten.

While there are lots of options when deciding on a summer experience for your son or daughter, there really is a big difference among them.  Earth Explore is one of the few student travel programs overseen by a federally recognized 501 (c)(3) not for profit educational organization, the Earth Explore Foundation.  As a mission-based educational program, Earth Explore has access to the best activities, and world-renowned partners.  And, we are responsible to parents and students.  First and always.

#3 Real-world Learning, with thrills

If you're looking for a dynamic combination of real-world learning, and thrilling outdoor adventure, you've come to the right place.  No other youth program gives your student the hands-on opportunities and access that we do.  Our programs give students valuable real world experiences, by allowing them to learn about nature and world cultures with experts.  And always in a safe and supportive group environment.  They get a great springboard for all of their future studies, and a big advantage heading into college.

#4 Academic Credit to go with the thrills

Earth Explore is one of the few youth travel organizations that can offer students full academic credit, both at the Costa Rica Safari, Earth Explore high school, and college levels.  As an accredited, not for profit educational organization, our access is unmatched.  We're able to work with the finest field partners, and create the most balanced and complete science and adventure learning curriculum in the nation.  Our credit opportunities also mean that Earth Explore students have an academic "leg up" approaching their college years.

#5 Safety, First and Foremost

Earth Explore's safety record is unmatched, and is something of which we're quite proud.  We have never had a serious injury on any of our programs.  This is because we keep students well-supervised, carefully choose our activities, only appoint leaders that parents and students know, and always work with the finest field partners.

#6 Outstanding Supervision

Another Earth Explore strength.  Our teachers are not randomly assigned to students, but are Students Dog Sledding in Alaska, Earth Exploreclassroom educators that parents already know, from the schools that our students attend.  Our adult to student ratio is the best in student travel.  We assign one teacher to 6-8 students on average, include one or two full time travel managers, and our groups are joined by highly experienced outdoor educators for all program activities.  That means when the students are actively exploring with Earth Explore, there is on average one adult for every 4 or 5 students.  These ratios are the best in the travel field, which averages 1 teacher to every 10 to 12 students.

#7 Top Value

When you compare Earth Explore programs to any other, we come out tops in educational value.  We invite you to compare the quality and number of meals served, the accommodations used and rooming arrangements for students, who the leaders are, and how the groups travel.  Also consider the type of activities scheduled, and with whom.  We're proud that parents and teachers rate our value highly every year, and we're A rated by the Better Business Bureau.
