Academic Credit.

When traveling on an Earth Explore History Pathways program to Washington, D.C., students have the opportunity to earn academic credit.  This special benefit is open to students in excellent academic standing.

 

Credit Opportunities

Students who participate in History Pathways trips to Washington, D.C. may be eligible to complete a high school semester civics or social studies course.  The coursework requires that the student take part in written assignments and reflection, and submit work by mail.  If you are interested in the opportunity for high school level academic credit, please contact Earth Explore at 877.224.3623.  
Teachers who are interested in obtaining professional development credit through the Earth Explore History Pathways program may be able to do so.  Hours are offered for educational leadership on all accredited Earth Explore Foundation travel programs.  Contact the credit coordinator at 877.224.3623 for additional information.
 
 
As a not for profit educational organization, the 501 (c)(3) Earth Explore Foundation sponsors the History Pathways program, a unique hands-on educational experience in the nation's capitol.  A portion of each student's program fee returns to their school to help fund social studies and history enrichment programs.
